Default Got my BlackBerry, need help.

Please Login to Remove!

First of all, my name is Will and I got my BlackBerry yesterday.
I went from a sidekick2 to the BB.
Anyways I've been extremely pleased with the phone.
But I tried to add someone to the buddylist on my AIM today, and it got stuck on 25% and the little AOL guy is running. So it's not frozen just there. I want to know what I can do to fix it, if I turn it off, it goes back in there when it's turned on.
When I click the menu it says <empty menu>
I don't want to call T-Mobile and get another one because I had bad experienced getting replacement SKs just garbage.
Thanks in advance.

Greetings Will, and welcome to the Blackberry Forums. Try pulling the battery for 30 seconds, while your BB is powered and repalce to reboot the BB. Try your AIM again. It is slow to signon, I have used it, and dumped it, finally.
There are better I'm apps out there for the BB, like JiveTalk. It is in beta testing, but if you look in the Aftermarket Software Forum (below on the main page of this), you will find it. The creators have been quite generous adding users, if you email them to ask.
Good luck.

Oh my god. Thank you so much! it's working, I don't know how much to thank you, I was extremely sad since the phone is only two days old.
But I'll check out the Jive Talk.
Thanks again.

Very very good, happy to hear it's working. A battery pull is often jsut the fix on a BB when something has a glitch.

Jivetalk is awesome! It is everything you could ask for out of a beta instant messaging program. Super stable, works great.
