Well as I stated when I try changing the message service that is used for sending it always goes out the POP. The selections as stated are the POP and Desktop. There is nothing that appears to be corporate. I would not consider Desktop to mean BES, and apparently it doesn't since it didn't work.
As for themes, a theme should not have anything to do with the actual RIM software. Themes just display what is there different ways, a theme should never hide anything. It should just provide different views.
Either it has multiple inboxes or it doesn't. So far when the POP is setup on the main application list I have Messages and then one with the name of the POP account. When I go to the pop account it does only show me the pop messages, its looks more like a filtered list that a separate inbox. I do not have one for the BES, I do not have one for the Text Messages SMS and MMS. Messages shows everything from IM, SMS, MMS, to BIS and BES.
Also it mixes sent items in the message list which I can have it turn off, however the POP items that are sent are not cleared if they where not sent from the BB.
Basically the best solution would be an application that would show me a hierarchical view of each account, then under that account show me the inbox and sent items as sub folders. This would include SMS and MMS at least maybe even the BB Messenger.
If I sound frustrated, I am, and I apologies if I am taking an attack posture when you are only trying to help. It is not directed at you or anyone, just at RIM and BB. I switched from a Windows Mobile which I switch to that from PalmOS. The transition from POS to WM POS was very seamless and simple. However from WM to RIM is a nightmare. Overall I like many things about the phone and RIM, however there are just these little things that used to be so easy that are so complicated now. I mean I cannot even seem to record a phone call any more and even my non PDA phones have been able to do that. Then this universal inbox issue, BIS and BES not playing well together. The fact that I cannot put applications on the SD card, etc etc. It all adds up. The only good thing is my phone no longer crashes and this is why I am willing to work through these things and learn a new way of dealing with this stuff I guess.
