Default Calendar Deleting Problem

Please Login to Remove!

Iím experience a problem where every time I sync my Blackberry Pearl to Microsoft Outlook 2003, it shows me an information box explaining the changes about to take place. EXAMPLE 1

If I click on details, I can see that the blackberry software is deleting any appointments older than a few months. EXAMPLE 2

Not only is it deleting my old appointments, its deleted all my appointments from last month and back. Is there anyway of stopping this to happen?

Iíve check my settings by going to Advanced Settings for Calendar and have made sure the option to transfer All scheduled items is selected and not Transfer items within a range of Days. EXAMPLE 3

But the same thing keeps happening. Previous appointments are vital to me and losing this has caused an absolute headache.

PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!

On your BlackBerry, go into the calendar's menu and select Options and check the Keep Appointments setting. You'll want that set to Forever.

If that's already set to Forever, try setting it to a day range and enter 999 in both prior and after today.

Iíve clicked on Calendar/Menu/Options. The only entries I see are the following:

Initial View: Month
Enable Quick Entry: Yes
Default Reminder: 1 Hour
Snooze: 5 Min
Start Of Day: 6:00am
End Of Day: 12:00am
First Day Of Week: Mon
Confirm Delete: Yes
Show Free Time in Agenda View: No
Show End Time in Agenda View: Yes
Show Tasks: No
---------------------------------------
Number of Entries: 121

I canít seem to see the option Keep Appointments anywhere? am I looking in the right section?

Didn't want to start a new thread for this. I can't seem to find the "Keep Appointments" option anywhere. Did they remove it in one of the software revisions? Currently on at&t .73 software.

BlackBerry 8800 v4.2.1.72. There's a similar setting accessible in the PIM setup of Desktop Manager.

I don't have it either, and according to the 8800, that is the software installed, and I have NO "keep appointments" option.

Question: If I do a full sync, then change the Desktop manager to "Future Appointments", will it keep the old ones, and only sync the future ones, or will it do the old ones too???

Or: If I set Desktop Manager for 9999 days before and after, will that work???

Thanks,

Ken
