Default Keypad durability?

hey all.
have any of you taken note of the durability of the pearls keypad? on my previous pearl, my Zero/space key broke or something and it would stick. am i pressing to hard? my current pearl feels like its going to give out as well. I dont press harder than normal. Wondering if anyone else has noticed this?

Nope, I have not noticed a durability issue. I am a heavy SMS, email, and Web Browser so I guess as long as you aren't kung-fu typing on it, there shouldn't be any issues. Remember, keys don't sense inflection when you press harder.

The only thing that went wrong with my keypad is the lights, they went dim after two weeks.

I have been using the Pearl since mid December and have not noticed the keypad getting messed up. I text alot so it has been put through its paces.
