How do I check to see how much memory is left on my Pearl?

While in the home screen hold down the Alt key and type in RACE.

how much should we have (memory) free on the pearl for optimal performance?

Mine usually hovers around 8-10 mbs free

well i have20336752 Bytes (19.3946 megabytes) and my phone runs like a charm, i also dont have email though, but i do save all my text messages and i have a trillion lol

You guys should have at least 16 MB for something normal. For those of you that have less than that... are you doing regular hard resets? This isn't like other phones where you can leave it on day after day after day cause if you do the cache builds up and hard reseting clears up the memory.
