Does the emulation mode in the browser settings make any difference at all? I have noticed that turning off Style Sheets helps some pages display much better but I am wondering if the emulation makes a difference. I notice there are several choices - Blackberry, Microsoft IE, pocket IE, netscape, etc. Anyone have any insight on how to display pages the best and what difference this setting makes?

It's how the browser is identified on the web / websites..... Some websites format differently depending on which browser is identified / emulated.....

You can try this at home on your PC as well.... Visit a site with IE, then vist the same site on Netscape...

Did that make any sense?????? lol

Majority of web sites are created to be viewed in IE. Some aren't even tested to see how they would be rendered in other browsers. Safest emulation I would think would be IE.

I do too in some instances, but I've rolled back to the bb browser as it is more user friendly at most of the sites I visit.

i find the pearl to look better on almost any page. the BB browser is good for...well, not much in comparison IMO. and i dont ever really see a difference between the emulators either.
