I am looking to get a red blackberry pearl from cingular, but I have tmobile and use myfaves and want to keep the myfaves icons on the phone. Is there anyway to do this if I purchase an unlocked pearl from cingular can I put tmobile software and still keep myfaves display???

I would think so as long as you're using T-mobile's service. It's the same Pearl....just a different color.

Also, you don't need to load T-mobile's software on the device. The OS version on the red pearls from cingular is the latest stable version.

You will still get myfaves with the other software versions.

Your service books have the myfaves application sent over the network.

Nope, no problem at all. FYI, There is a newer OS than the .73 from the red Pearl. Check the sticky at the top of the 8100 forum for info on how to install it and it's features.
