Hi All,

New user here- Love my new Pearl. Is there any way to unlock and delete the locked preloaded media content such as the demo video and pictures? I figure it would free up a little space.

Also, I'm using the default theme, but have noticed that I can't change the Voice mail notification sound without changing the SMS text notification sound. Is there a reason these two are "grouped"? And is there a way to assign separate sounds for each notification?

sorry I dont think you can delete the locked pictures, however you can delete the video by going into options>advanced options>applications, and delete the blackberry sample video.

for your other questions all the sounds can be changed by going to profiles and then advanced and editing a profile (if thats what you are asking).

Goto Options
-Advanced Options
Applications

Position Cursor over the Pre-loaded Media that you wish to remove
hit Menu
-Delete

That helped a little, I dumped the demo video, but the sample pictures all still have a lock on them. As for the sounds, I think the question I was asking was more along the lines of why the SMS Text Notification and the Voice Mail are linked- (I don't have the option to change the Voice mail Notifiation individually)
