Default Data connection refused - 05-07-2007, 10:51 PM

My Pearl says: Data Connection Refused. so now instead of "EDGE", it says "edge".

I resend service books. Turned off/on wireless. Restarted. Pulled Battery.

It still says the same thing. any idea?

Wirelessly posted (8700g: BlackBerry8700/4.1.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/100)

I'm betting you don't have a BlackBerry Data Plan purchased from your carrier? Without the Data Plan, you'll only have a phone with SMS. No internet, no browser, no PIN messages, no data, no service books.

If you do have a BB data plan, contact your carrier.

If you have a data plan did you by chance happen to turn Data Services OFF?

Turning off data services won't give you the "data connection refused" messages.

Call TMobile. Could just be a network issue in your area or with your account.
