DST Questions

I have a few questions.

I didn't know about the DST 2007 Patch for the Pearl until the other day.

I manually changed the time on my phone, I am about to go home, backup my BB data, and apply the new patch, and restore the backup stuff to it.

Should I put the patch on there now?

If you've gone this long, I'd wait and do just like your steps say. You should be just fine.

BamaFan2989 05-08-2007 02:12 PM

So should I or should I not install the DST patch after installing the new software and restoring backup stuff?

paulbblc 05-08-2007 02:17 PM

You should. Follow the steps that you posted in the initial post and you'll be fine. Sorry, should have maybe clarified that.

BamaFan2989 05-08-2007 02:19 PM

No Problem.

Thank you for your help. :]

Hey BamaFan... Roll Tide.

I don't understand why you are backing and restoring after the DST patch, though, that is not required for a DST patch. Just go the site FROM your BB browser, and it will automatically detect your BB device and model, etc...

Oh, and

BlackBerry

paulbblc 05-08-2007 02:30 PM

Either way it'll be fine. I just figured if he has a plan to do a backup/restore as well as other things, might as well stick to his plan.

JSanders 05-08-2007 02:33 PM

Yep. Mainly I just needed the chance to say ROLL TIDE! The rest was dribble.

BamaFan2989 05-08-2007 02:50 PM

Roll Tide :]

And I am backup and restoring, because I thought that when you upgrade your BB software it clear your BB.

I am installing the new software from TMobile's site.

good deal then, I wasn't sure you had the project going anyway.
