My brather have a BB Pear and he have a big or small problem.
When I or somebody else call, he have on BB screen just number and not contact name.

And for exsample that he has saved contact name just number (6 number xxx xxx) then shows to BB screen contact name.


So with number +43 (for austria) or +386 (for slovenia) saved contact then shows only number whitout contact name.


What is the problem?

Set the country code at Phone > Options > Smart Dialing. Put HIS country code , +43 there.

That should solve the prob. Other countries like +386, put that in the contact phone number.

This number is set for my country. Problem is in contact which heve this number seved (ex. +43xx xxx xxx), for this number doesn`t work.

If the same country, then take it out of the contact phone number.

Yes then he must do that. For one or 70 contact.

remove the country code from each contact who has the same country code that he has.

Remove those in his country.

If that doesn't work it can also be a network/carrier issue. A call to his carrier may just fix the problem.
