A couple of ways you can do it.

From the message folder, click on the menu button. (the one to the left of the pearl) click "compose MMS message". (By "click" I mean push down on the pearl)

From your address book, click on the person you want to send a message to. when the menu comes up, select "MMS [name of person]"

No offense, but based on the list of threads you have thrown on here in the last 10 minutes...how long have you owned this phone?

Not that we aren't willing to help, but if it is brand new and you don't want to read through all the documentation, you might want to take a quick trip back to the store and get your rep to give you a brief training session/familiarization. It will definitely help you when you ask us for help and we start saying "do this or that"

If you don't have the data plan you would not be able to send an MMS.

Just going to go out on a limb here. You bought the phone without a manual. You have no clue how to operate it. (Not putting you down, just stating the facts as I can see them based on your posts in the last hour).

My guess at this point is that you bought the phone from an individual either on ebay or some other way.

From there, I am guessing you have no data plan for your phone, all you did was drop your SIM card into the phone from your old phone.

So far, so good? Did I miss anything?

If thats the case, then yes, you are correct, the instructions I gave you won't work. Because in order for your phone to have the multimedia message functions (i.e. picture messages), email, and all the other amazingly cool features of your phone, you have to purchase a separate Blackberry Data plan from Cingular. They start at $29/mo. and go up from there.

If you don't have a data plan yet, none of the functions you've been asking about will work.

My suggestion is take the phone to Cingular, get a data plan set up, and while you are waiting for the service books to be sent (don't worry, the rep will teach you) ask him to show you the basics on using this phone.

We're more than willing to help here, but I am guessing at this point all you have is a really cool phone. That will play mp3s.

With my text plan I get 400 "Picture Messages." So if I didn't have a data plan I wouldn't be able to send pictures?

99% is true, anyways, i will be doing that. so, if i don't have a data plan, i can't be uploading songs to my phone?

I don't have T-Mo, so I don't know for sure, but my guess is no. That "400 picture messages" is for the non-BB phones on T-Mo's networks.

At Cingular, they have a similar rate plan. Or if you don't have any picture messages, they are $.25 each mms.

But on the BB, no data plan, no MMS. (Double checking that now, but I'm pretty sure I have that right. I have the unlimited data plan, so its not something I've had to determine)

Ha! Whats the 1% I missed?

If by "uploading" you mean can you get the songs off websites or wirelessly, no, not without a data plan.

However, if you have the mini USB cable that connects the phone to a laptop, and you've been able to download and install the Desktop Manager software, you can link the phone to your computer and file transfer your songs. JSands gave you a FAQ link on your other thread asking about the songs. Follow that and you can see how to do that.
