i have just bought a Blackberry 655 and have a problem. sometimes when i press the button on the Pearl to answer the call, the phone answers the call but neither me or the caller can hear anything. Does anybody know how to cure this one. Thanks

I had this happen one time when I initially paired the device. Where on your person is the phone when you answer the phone with the 655? Do you receive a distintive chime in your earpiece when you answer the call? Do you get a confirmation on your phone when your device is paired? Is the device fully charged?

the phone was on the desk next to me, well charged. i get a low volume chime in my ear before answering the call. when the device pairs the flashing light turns Blue. any ideas?

iam on my second 655 and i have the same problem.

i got it in NOV 06 and paired it with 8700...30% of calls this happens (connects but no sound in earphone)

then i got the 8800 and thought it would be better...no luck

i got a replacement 655 from rogers store...first call i got SAME PROBLEM

Replacement seems to do this more than the old one.

i will write a letter to RIM, my retail guy has been great and dont want to bother him again as he also replaced my defective 8800
