Unhappy Sending MMS problems T-Mobile

Please Login to Remove!

I keep getting a red X whenever I try to send a MMS. I've done a search on the forums and can't seem to find anybody who has had this problem with T-mobile.
I'm BIS with a data plan. I can send pics to my t-mobile picture album, but not anywhere else. I have to send the pics to my album, then send from my album back to my pearl, and then I can forward the pic with no problems.

Can anybody help?

Sometimes MMS is not enabled on your account automatically, so you may nned to initially call TMo. I know I have had problems with MMS on TMo also, and there have been a few other reports on this board of such.

He checked all the settings, and had me power off my phone, wait 10 seconds and power back on. He said that it reset my connection with the towers. I sent a message, and it went through! He suggested that you turn your phone off at least once a day. Doing a battery pull to reset it isn't enough.

Thanks for your help!

Melissa

i also had problems with sending/receiving MMS when i first got my Pearl...and when i called, the rep had me try sending a MMS to myself...which ended up working, and that added the settings or whatever i needed....anyways, after that, it worked just fine
