Unhappy Outgoing and Ingoing Calls in SMS List

Please Login to Remove!

Hi all,

I was on Tmo .64, then went to Cingular .71, and my incoming and outgoing calls started showing up right next to all me emails. I cannot find an option to change this, and my incoming and outgoing calls were being randomly nuked off my calls menu! So.... I just installed the TIM release, and am having the same problems! Any Ideas? should I try the 'wrong password 10x' to totally wipe my BB and try again?

To keep your Messages free from the call logs, go to Phone > Options > Call Logging > check NONE.

To help keep your phone logs from disappearing off your call log, (common issue with many 8100 users) read this:
Why is my 8100 Pearl losing its call logs or message logs? - BlackBerryFAQ
and this:
How do I free up memory on my device? - BlackBerryFAQ

Good luck.

I have 12 megs free out of 64, and a memory card that I use for all my pics and sounds. On my PC a good rule of thumb is to keep 15% free. Think the same applies to BB's?

Who knows what percentage, it should be ok, but I have never seen anyone post percentages, etc. Even if you have 12mg free, I have seen people on here post they had 15-20 free and the call logs get blasted. Removing the foreign languages and junk you might never use is easy enough.

Bottom line to keep the call logs, etc., from disappearing is to reboot your 8100 about once a week by pulling the battery, hold it 30 secs or so, replace to reboot. It's just good maintenance for the 8100.
