I saw the thread about using your phone as a modem. Do they charge you?

I have an unlimited data plan with tmobile, but will they charge you for using it as a modem?

T-Mobile does not as long as you have the Unlimited BlackBerry Data Plan.....

Have fun!

There are many threads that discuss and answer this.

If you have a data plan with T-Mobile [$20 monthly] UNLIMITED use of the Pearl as a modem is covered. But as I recall, this is only in the U.S.

A few months ago some T-Mo European member said that over there they do NOT have the $20 unlimited use data plan.

By the way, you can set the up the Pearl as a modem on your desktop or notebook. The desktop use is handy if your DSL or broadband goes out.

For issues on setting it up, check this thread:
