Hey all, another newbie question. I tried searching for the answer but couldn't find it. Also on the phone I tried following the instructions from the help option in the email folder, and no help.

My question is, how do I prevent emails sent from my desktop/phone showing up as a message on my phone?

via the help screen it says:
click options and then click email settings. That's where I'm lost...there's nothing listed as email settings, at least where I'm looking.

anyone able to help me out?

Are you using GMail or are you on a BES (answers to both have been posted many times) - how are you sending your e-mail?
