ohk so i dont use outlook, i use outlook express, but i understand you must use outlook, so i got that open i just dont know how to get my contacts from my phone on to the computer to edit them, and i dont need a data plan to do this do i?

I am really enjoying outlook 2007, I just wish the 8100 supported the multicolored calendar, would make my life a lot easier.

You need to configure your blackberry desktop manager to sync with your Outlook. Once you connect your phone via the USB cable and start the desktop manager to to the options for PIM sync. It will ask you what Outlook profile you want to use and then just go through the settings for mail, contacts, calendar, and tasks.

ohk i think i made an outlook profile but i can't fine PIM sync anywhere, and i wasn't asked anything about calender, mail contacts or tasks, am i missing somthig or maybe doing somthing wrong?

any issues with O 2007 and BB? I am using Pocket Day on the BB, would there be any conflicts using 2007 and Pocket day?

On BIS and using Outlook, is it possible to sync AOL imap mail from Outlook to Blackberry?

How is Outlook 2007. I tried Office 2007 earlier last year when it was still in beta and went back to 2003 as it was not ready for prime time. It was a complete mess.

Its amazing! espically if you have an exchange server.

Outlook 2007 is good, I haven't had any problems with it personally. And I know about the problems in the beta because I had 2 of those versions as well.

the search feature is MUCH better finally...it doesn't hog all the resources. I go through spits and spats with the new 07 word...it is extremely easy to use until you try to do something that is not common...it is lacking some detail...but you guys are interested in outlook and not word.

Outlook is very stable now. All the bugs seem to be out of the system so to speak. Of course I am not using e-mail in outlook, but from the contacts/calendar aspect it is perfect.

As for pocketday? I really don't know. I know the blackberry synced up perfectly with outlook 07 when it was in beta...so I would guess there wouldn't be much change from 03 to 07 in that aspect...sorry I cant offer more information there.

The only way to really do this is to keep two completely separate logons and Outlook profiles on the computer. If you're looking to log in, and have two lists of contacts under your profile, you can't, to my knowledge. One thing you could try is to assign categories to certain contacts (like "mine" and "dad's". Then you can only display yours (I think) with your BB. I've never gotten that cosmic with my contacts, but I know Outlook won't differentiate until you have a separate profile.

In Outlook 2007, when I delete an Imap AOL email, it doesn't get removed from my BB Pearl on BIS? How can I configure it to do so?

Is the BB the only way to control the BIS Imap emails/folders?
