If you want to send a text message to someone's cell phone, you can use Teleflip (free to use, but the receiving device may be charged if they do not have a text msg plan). Will work for any carrier - just put in the phone number with (I think .com, anyway). So something like:

[email address]

Send it from a PC and it goes to the device as a text message.
No longer a BES Admin, but it was fun while it lasted!

If the person you are trying to send the SMS to is using T-Mobile US you can also use <mobile number> to get the SMS to them. If you go over the 160 character limit, the message will be sent as an MMS message instead.
