Default New Rogers OS turned off a holster function...

Please Login to Remove!

I think I've found one thing that the new Rogers OS update may have changed.

With the Cingular .73 OS that I had before, whenever I pulled my phone out of the holster after receiving a new message, the phone would automatically open the message and display it upon waking up from the holster.

With the new Rogers OS, it does not do this.

I've tried looking at the profile settings to see if there is a way to change it, but so far no luck.

Anyone know where I can go in and select this option? It was a pretty handy feature of my phone since I holster it. I am thinking about going back to the Cingular OS if there is no way to change it.

I just tested it out and works fine for me (although was slower to open it than before hehe) if all else fails you might wanna just re-install it before downgrading

I'll be putting myself in timeout now. Did a battery pull, sent myself test messages after it restarted. Working just fine. Yeesh. Didn't even try the battery pull before I posted.
