hope everyone is doing good i am new to blackberry & my phone is though t-mobile who put me on a high risk plan where i am not able to get this data plan for access to the internet unless i get the 300 mins plan with NO nights but i would have weekends free.

Now i don't need to have access to the full web i really would like to have my email or instant message, is there any way get any of these two services on my phone without the data plan? thanks for any help

Sorry; without a BlackBerry Data Plan, you have no e-mail or IM.

Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry8100/4.2.1 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/100)

If you have tmobile web, which is 5.99, you can use opera mini to check your email via html websites and use JiveTalk for your instant messaging needs.

If you really don't want to add the 5.99 plan, you could use oz messenger which uses your text messaging for instant messaging.

It's free from tmobile, I don't know where you would go find the cod/alx file though. It uses text as a medium to send and receive messages
