I have blackberry pearl, when I try to connect to my Laptop I first see message appearing "Bluetooth connection established with LAPTOP" and within 2 seconds it again displays "Bluetooth connection lost"

The same happens on my Car's (Acura TL 2006) handsfree link.

I have two blackberry pearl (red and black) from Cingular, and same happens on both the devices.

Please help if you have experienced something similar and got a solution.

I'd give a soft reset a try and if that doesn't solve the issue, it could be a defective Blackberry device.
