Default Clearing Out T-mobile Pearl Info

Please Login to Remove!

Hi all,

Sorry if this has been explained before- i looked and looked but could not find!

I am selling my T-Mobile Blackberry Pearl (White) and I want to get all of my info out of there for the next user who is going to have it. I am downgrading because I dont use half the features on this phone and would rather someone had it who would!

If anyone could tell me how to get all my stuff, like contacts and everything out of there, and just reset the phone to how it was when I bought it with nothing in it, I would appreciate it!

Thanks!
Amanda

No problem! Why are you selling it?

umm because i dont use half of the features like the email, the calender.. just everything. The keyboard also drives me bonkers because I useto have the sidekick and loved the qwerty keyboard cause im a text msging fool

also, because where i go to college, in the middle of no where in the woods, i only get service by like on particular tree facing a particular way holding the phone at a 40degree angle.. hahahah its THAT complicated.

that's a neat feature....always learning something new with BB features.

so what exactly is wiped when you select this feature ? does it delete email accounts that were set up, all the in/out MMS/SMS/Browser/PIN messages, Phone Logs, Event Log, etc....?

lol... Well that's understandable! I had the switched from a SideKick 3 as well and for the first week, the Pearl's sure type drove me freaking insane, however, i did get used to it!

Im almost sure it gets rid of every single thing - sets it back to how you would have gotten it right out of the box!

Yes, both mandaz and you are correct! It will definitely wipe out all the personal data from the Pearl just as you listed above, however, it will not delete the OS. You need the JL_Cmder to do so or you can just perform and upgrade using any compatible OS.
