Default Quick Email Question

Hey everyone!
Just picked up my first blackberry today and LOVE it! The only problem I have is with my Email. I set up both of my accounts rather easily. For some reason tho, whenever I send out an email, I get the same email right back in my inbox. It's annoying to get an alert everytime I send an email. Any way I can turn it off? If it matters, its a Gmail account.

It matteers that it is Gmail. Go read the Sticky Note at the top of the General Discussion Forum on this board about duplicate gmail and how to stop it.

Make sure Hide Sent Messages is set to Yes in the General Options for email
