You need to check with your carrier about tethering costs. Even with unlimited BB Data Plan, I know some, like Cingular, now AT&T might charge extra.

Use your BB as a Modem for your laptop:
Using BlackBerry As Modem - BlackBerryFAQ

No need to cuss, your question can be answered without it.
Applications are either downloaded directly to your BB via Over The Air download and install (OTA); or downloaded to your PC and installed via Desktop Manager > Application Loader.

Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry 9000: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.0) BlackBerry8100/4.2.1 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/102)

Cingular/AT&T charges an arm and a leg for tethering (which is what you want to do). Last I checked it was 35.00 per month BIS unlimited plan and I think 79.99 for the tethering BIS unlimited plan. Not worth it for most people for EDGE speeds. I'd go get a PCMCIA card from Verizon or another broadband-speed carrier before I paid that much money to only get between 100-200 kbps.

Ouch, too bad you don't have T-Mobile, you are able to tether with T-Mo with the unlimited data plan for free.

Nothing at all, as long as you have the unlimited data plan they don't care. Cingular however has a seperate tether plan, and if you try to tether it without the tether plan then you'll find your bill to be quite heavy...

Ok I got it how I want it. Now. I went to Gmail.com/app and downloaded the app by Opera mini, Where does it download to? And how come I can't setup a personal email by the BBSetup app? I already have one corporate email setup, Just need my Gmail with it.

Love it so far and still learning.

Enitowk time? Maybe you need to reset it to Pacific Time and this time click SAVE as your exit from the time setting at OPTIONS > DATE TIME.
Hello!

You went to gmail.com/app and found Opera Mini?
If you downloaded Opera Mini to your BB, via Over The Air, it downloads to you applications folder.
You should be able to setup your personal email via BIS, unless it is restricted by your BES setup (if you have a corporate email address... you didn't say if you were BES).
More detail to your actual problems would be helpful to determine solutions.

Good luck.
