So ive been using Opera Mini to surf myspace on my pearl for the last 3 or 4 months. Today when i go to reply to messages in my inbox instead of bringing up the reply screen for the message it deletes my message entirely! Ive reset my pearl by pulling battery and tried uninstalling opera and reinstalling it and still no luck. Anyone have any ideals or have had this happen to them?

do you mean your messages in your myspace inbox through opera mini, or your messages in your bb's 'messages' folder?

yes talking about my messages in my inbox on myspace using opera mini as my browser. now i can log onto a computer and reply and everything normal but starting last night i cant reply to messages if i try when i hit the reply button it deletes it, and its very annoying because im use to being able to reply instantly. I even went so far as to reinstall the tim italy software again and it still does the same thing!

I have had the same issue. Started sometime last week. Also, if I compose an email, it sends this horribly formated message with commas inserted in front and mangles the subject and body together. In its current state it's basically useless other than reading email or bulletins.

I'm guessing something changed with myspace, not the BB or opera. Almost makes you wonder if it was intentional...

If anyone discovers a fix, I'd love to know. The BB browser is no good for myspace so Opera was the only ms option before this.

this will probably have me crying. i was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO HAPPY W MY FONE FINALLY. man this is pretty horrible. there is no other way for me to access myspace at work to reply to the messages. my pearl was IT....... and now,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, i just wanna cry. so depressed

Does the BB browser not work?

No the BB Browser doesn't work with Myspace.

Its definitely a Myspace issue, not an Opera/Blackberry issue. I access several forums thru Opera, not just myspace, and I'm not having that issue on those sites.

You guys that are having problems may want to contact that mystical "Technical Services Group" that all the other Myspace issues seem to get sent to.

My friend & I both have Pearls. We're experiencing the same problem.

I have the same problem too. My guess is that myspace keeps updating their security or something. Maybe because they wanna keep mobile access exclusively with helio. I used the BB browser with everything enabled in the settings and emulating netscape. Style set to handheld.
