Default tmobile wing question

Please Login to Remove!

okay, so I went from the moto a630 to the pearl and now the Wing has come out. I guess my question is, if I bought a Wing would it work with my current plan (blackberry minutes and mail)?

I realize I woudnt get the blackberry features, but is there any chance my data, text, etc would be unlimited just as it is on my Pearl?

I would basically be switching out the sim when I used one or the other...

"Everybody" isn't getting the Wing. It is just the latest "Smart"phone available from T-Mobile. Is is the next generation MDA, with Windows Mobile 6. Some people (ahem) like to try everything that is new.

And by the way, I would not call going from the Pearl to the Wing an "upgrade."

Ditto on the other comments, not everyone is getting the Wing.

Windows Mobile devices have over the years considered to be total, excuse my French, crap.

MS is so desperate they keep changing version numbers in a failed attempt to convince the public that the latest version is the totally new and improved Mobile PC version. Most versions are not earth shaking, but MS hopes increasing the version numbers and giving a name change will help, but it has not.

I used to use Windows Mobile devices. Matter of fact I have a Dell X50V sitting here somewhere. Want to buy it?

I switched from the original MDA to the Pearl and I'm glad I did but I digress.
The Wing is marketed as a "hip" product but if I hadn't gotten the Pearl I would have kept my MDA and not gotten the wing. the only thing they changed was the color of it and made the buttons different. lol A quick side by side comparison will reveal that the MDA was a better product in terms of talk time, battery life and standby time. I don't think much has changed in the way of the Windows Mobile other that it is a higher version.
