I read the thread on bb weather and was wandering if you could install a jad file from the desktop. If not is there a link to download the file to the desktop. I don't have internet yet. Also whats the difference between google maps and bb maps?

You can't install a jad file from the desktop--get the desktop install file. The zip file is here in the forums if you'll search.
Both BBMaps and Google maps are very similar, both are free--the best feature of both. Google has a few more options for markers, etc.
