Default Need Os!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Please Login to Remove!

I messed up my pearl. When I installed a couple themes "matrix and windows live" Now it gives me some kind of message when I power up but lets me ok it, and when I go to open up my media pics or music it says unable to read file. I tried to go to blackberry to get the os but it keeps giving me a bunch of script and saying timed out. any suggestions or help would be much appreciated. I am kind of new to this and have searched everywhere for the FW but can not find t without a link to blackberry. If someone could provide me with it I would greatly appreciate it. And if you have any insight as to why this happened I would love it. Thanks again. I am running CIngular .73

You have got to start using the search feature. Everything you've asked for is in one of the Sticky FAQs at the top of the General BlackBerry Discussion for, and on the BlackBerry FAQs section.

Search for JL_CMDER; download it and wipe out the BB.
Then follow this thread: How do I upgrade the OS on my BlackBerry? - BlackBerryFAQ

Good luck.

Thats why i was asking for a link to an uploaded fw not to blackberry there is something wrong with there site. But I appreciate it nonn the less. I really do try to use the search function. It's just really frustrating that iut's messed up already and there seems to be no way to get the fw file.

Wirelessly posted (BB 8860: BlackBerry8100/4.2.1 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/100)

Are you downloading this to your pc? That's a lot of error messages. You're doing something wrong.

After you've wiped with JL_Cmder Just download the Desktop Manager to your pc. Then download the OS package to your pc and install it to the pc as well.

Then delete the vendor.xml file and plugin the BB and run Desktop Manager.
Check out www.BlackBerryFAQ.com for lots more info.

Default No one seems to understand

If I CANT get it from blackberry then how to I command it to my desktop. I dont get those errors from my device I get them from the BLACKBERRY site when I try to get the new os. It's hard to believe that the only way to get the firmware is to go to blackberry. No one has it saved to their desktop.... Thats all i'm asking for. I would have it but I just got it yeaterday( and I know I should have done it first but I forgot)
