Default Error Message - "Uncaught Exception"

Please Login to Remove!

Loaded some basic third party applications on my new Pearl tonight and i am now getting this message each time I power-up my device:

"Uncaught exception: ApplicationRegistry.waitfor(0xac3ae76427d17f19) timeout"

Then i have to select "Ok"

What is this and how the heck do I get rid of it?

Thanks.

Mike

Get rid of the third party software.

Write the author and let them know about it. Give them as much detail as possible about your BlackBerry, the OS, carrier, and other applications installed, and cross your fingers!

I got this same error message after installing some Bible software and spent 2.5 hours on the phone with Cingular and then RIM and ended up wiping the phone (several times) and that didn't even get rid of it. Cingular ended up replacing my phone.

Well, i deleted the third party applications and it no longer gives that error message on start-up, but...now I cannot view my media files (preinstalled or new ones) and I do not get an option to open an attachment for an email. Not sure if these problems are related to the error message I was getting.

Any help?

Wiped system...loaded OS on...restored everything....works great! Browser icon back, able to view attachments, able to view media files.
Haven't put those third party programs on again - all three were trial versions of programs from Handango. One was espell, one was IM program and the third was a game.

I am having this same problem, but the problem occured with my phone after I set up the desktop manager. I havent uploaded any new programs or anything. I was just trying to set it up so I could add media files to it. I guess I should go to cingular huh?!
