I have tried going onto a forum similar to this one with my blackberry browser. I log in and post a reply to a thread, and then instead of posting the reply, it tells me to log in again, and then I fill out the reply again, hit post and again with the login, total loop. Is this a problem with the blackberry or cell phones in general? Will another browser fix this?

start by clearing your cache and cookies, then try to load the page again. in Browser settings (not the t-Zones WAP browser) check your setting and options to Support HTML Tables and Javascript. see if those tweaks make a difference.

some sites, especially forums, have many behind-the-scenes communications between clicks and if one of these doesn't work as the site wants then you'll hit a loop. often these are third party cookies, over which you'll have limited control.

another thing you might try is: log onto the site on your home PC and go to the control panel, then copy that page address and email it to yourself, opening the link on your 'berry once it arrives. you'll be prompted for log in, then be taken back to the control panel (always a good starting place, IMO). i have seen some forums (and miscellaneous websites) behave differently using a "backdoor" login versus the site's main starting page (often handy for firewall conflicts).

while in the Browser, press the BB MENU button and the choose Options

when you have the time, check the Options for each application on your 'berry. there are many personalization tweaks and it can help you become more familiar with your device.

i will try a little later, I went to advanced options/browser and couldn't find these options, I will try from the browser itself.

I got the site that wasn't working to work from opera, so at least thats a step in the right direction.

won't work with blackberry browser but will work with opera. Is there something I can change so it will work with the BB browser?

I have the same problem. I can't login to a forum, after upgrading my OS to the newest 4.2.1.101...

I went back to Cingular 4.2.0.73 and same thing. I can type in my username and password, but when I go to click login, the button goes down and up but will not redirect. I have logged into this site a thousand times before this...

Tried tweaking HTML tables, JAVA, etc.
