I have the extended battery and the new cover that came with it.
In my opinion it's a way better design and it feels a lot more snug and secure.

This is the one i have: link

I have the Seidio cover and it is definitely way tighter than the original, to the point of being TOO tight...you really need to push before it'll click. Hopefully you won't need to access your SD card too often because it's a ***** to remove!

I have noticed that it scratches really easily however. I've had mine for a few weeks and it is already covered with little scratches, and I baby my phone. Doesn't bother me but it might for others... The speaker grille is a nice touch.

so if i have the problem where the back OEM piece of my pearl is loose it should fix that problem with the seidio one?

also, I have the blackberry skin case for my pearl... will the seidio back cover scratch with the skin case on it?

thanks,

It'll definitely fix the OEM loose problem. As for whether the skin case will scratch, who knows. If you're using a always-on skin case it doesn't really matter anyway.

The skincase will cover up the speaker hole, so if you use that you're wasting your money. That's the feature that makes it better.
