Default email issues

Hi,

I'm with Tmobile and I"m having a weird issue. I'm getting emails, but if I send one to myself from an account that is linked to theblackberry on my home computer or from an account that isn't linked to the blackberry, I never get the message on the blackberry. I get messages sent from other people, but not my own. I'm getting very frustrated.

I could understand some weird thing if I have my email address pushed to the phone and I send myself an email from that email address to the same email address. But when I'm sending from a yahoo account to the address registered on the blackberry?? That makes no sense.

Do you by chance have any filters setup on the BIE service??
Sign into your T-Mobile account online and check for filters.

Yes you may have filters on, go to your provider site and make sure that the filters for that same email isn't on, if it is then take it off. What the filter does is prevent it you from getting it on the device.

I had to leave a copy of the email on the server, they were getting deleted by outlook, took 3 people at tmobile, actually I think it was 2 at tmobile and one at RIM to figure that one out. Shouldn't that be the first thing that they mention when you are setting up a pop account??
