Default Desktop manager problem

Just got the pearl 3 days ago, I've already transferred a couple files in, but that was 2 days ago, when I try this again, it keeps saying "An error occurred while transferring (file) to the Blackberry device. An error occurred while communicating with the Blackberry device (Unknown)."

I hope it's not broken?

Default device memory

device memory, but the files are under the max 2.86mb, and i still have 30 megs left. it copies the file midway in the bar, then it gets that message. i can upload pictures, but not music or videos. I'm planning on getting a micro card sometime soon though.

When you put a memory card into a BB it puts it's own folders on it. Music, Ringtones, Pictures, and Videos. The device memory doesn't have the videos folder. So you might have to put them onto a memory card in the video folder.

Before I got my memory card, when I was transferring music files to the device memory I had to put them into the ringtones folder because I didn't have a music folder.
