Default MP3 files and folders question

Please Login to Remove!

Is there a way on the device to move MP3 files from one folder to another on the device (e.g. from "Music" to "Ringtones" and between the Device Memory and SD Card)? I can plug the Pearl into a PC and move it between folders that way (accessing the pearl as a flash drive) but there doesn't seem to be a way of doing it on the device itself.

Also - is it possible to select where to save an MP3 attached to an email to? The default is "ringtones", and there's a "folder" option that allows me to browse around the folders on the device, but there doesn't seem to be a way of actually choosing a different folder.

I'm probably missing something obvious here...

Try this - Music > Media Card> Menu (the 7 dots left of the ball)> Move

Thanks (finally spotted the "move here" option at the top of the menu)!

I don't seem to be able to move between "Music" and "Ringtones" this way though?

Media>Music>Media Card>Select song>Menu>Set as phone tune.

Now you owe me a beer!

this is the way to move music to the ringtone folder.
open up your media card. menu key-explore-media card-blackberry-music-highlight the song you want to move, hit menu key again, choose move, and then navigate to the ringtone folder. that's all you have to do. because you don't always want to make something a ringtone, just move it to that folder for later use.

Thanks, both!

"Explore" was exactly what I was looking for.

I know how to access explore. How do you move a music file from one folder to another within the media card?
