I really enjoyed T-Mobile for the two years that I used their service. I had absolutely no complaints. Terrific customer service and a nice selection of phones.
When I began traveling all over the US the coverage was not as good, so I switched to AT&T before it became Cingular. I stayed with Cingular because I received the same good service. However what I learned is if I asked, I could negotiate some outstanding deals on phones, as I upgrade several times per year. Also each time they always thanked me for my business.
When Cingular finally got the Pearl, I called in and said that I was really happy with my 7130c but would like to try a Pearl. They asked me for my account number so they could look up my history. After asking if I would mind holding they did the research and came back with an apology. I was quite surprised as they noticed that I had been over charged on the prior months bill which I payed immediately, but missed the overcharge. They offered to credit me back for the overcharge, provide a new 8100 for me at no charge, along with an additional goodwill credit on my account for $100.
It was very refreshing to get the Pearl for free, as well as have then be so courteous, diligent and considerate when correcting an error that they made. It's that kind of customer service that keeps me a very happy and loyal Cingular, now AT&T customer.
