Hey guys, weird thing is going on with my Pearl email setup.

Basically it keeps telling me i have 1 message when i dont and all of my messages are already opened. funny thing is that the actual messages folder is closed as in 0 messages but my email folder keeps saying 1 message and has the little star on it.

any ideas??

Have you tried pulling the battery and restarting the device? This usually clears up several glitches.

I have done both pulling it while it is on (frozen) and while off. I would power down the phone, pull the battery for 10-15 seconds, then reinstall battery and power up.

not sure if this will fix it, but whenever my phone acts funky, this is what I do, usually resolves the problem.

well, what i did was go to my email setup and deleted my accounts. then remade them. after that i turned off my phone and pulled the battery for 30 seconds. after it booted back up i sent service books and all looks well for now.

thanks for the quick reply.

Try to just do a battery pull for most of your problems, it's very simple b ut yes it fixes a lot of the problems.
