Aaargh! I just upgraded to the latest OS and just noticed that it seems to have changed all the tunes that were associated with different things under all the profiles. WTF? And it seems like everything's been changed. From calendar notifications to all the various ones I had for emails.

1) Do they not get saved when you do an OS upgrade, or do the default tunes get applied?

2) What about the rest of the settings in each profile, like how it acted for each thing in and out of the holster? Did all those change to the defaults too? I had customized them all...

I thought with everything it backed up during the upgrade it would have at least saved those things...

did you do a backup before your OS upgrade and then a Restore after? that should have brought those little prefs back, I have done at least 5 OS changes in last 2 months, this has always worked.

Hi, IIRC, when you're going thru the OS upgrade, it gives you 2 choices, to backup and restore (which it labels as Recommended) and to skip backup. I chose the first option.

I didn't do a manual backup and restore or anything like that, b/c the above is automatically part of the upgrade process I understood. I'd done 2 other 4.1 OS upgrades before this and don't recall it happening, so maybe it's when going from 4.1 to 4.2?

Have you gone to 4.2?
