Default ugh for some reason yahoo! will not delete

Please Login to Remove!

i have downloaded yahoo! messenger from the blackberry site but when i try and use it it doesnt work so i tried to delete it...i went to applications and deleted but its still on my home screen!! if it wont work i want it gone, but how? i also tried desktop manager and its not their.

help?

Did you remove the battery and reinsert?

Did you delete all the service books associated with Yahoo! Messenger?

Options >Advanced Options >Service Books. Delete all associated with the Yahoo Messenger.

...if there are any. I'm not familiar with the app.

hm there is not any that are associated with yahoo!
but ugh its bothering me if its not working i want it gone.
cuz it takes up memory righht?
