Maybe a thread should be started on "Will Nots" that specifies all the things the Pearl will NOT do.

The Pearl browser is rudimentary [basic]. You cannot go to websites and play flash files [such as YouTube, MySpace, etc.].

Moreover, you cannot go to websites and play any kind of streaming video, regardless of format.

There are some sites that are experimenting with playing small video clips, but so far those are unremarkable and I believe they are simply downloading the video, not playing through a website.

Someday cell phones like the Pearl may be able to play video online, including flash files, but that will most likely require a new phone and not the Pearl [in its present form]. Any phone that could play videos would most likely require a 3G [broadband] connection/speed.

All is not lost though, IMHO, because the Pearl plays full length movies and other videos quite well. That is amazing for a $200 device.
