Default loose trackball?

hey all,

so i've had my blackberry pearl for about a month now and the trackball on the pearl is loose. when i push it in to click i have to push it down a fair bit before it selects. i have used my friends pearl and his is hard when you click it. does anyone else have this problem? is there some way to fix it?

please let me know.

does anyone else have this problem?? its just the pearls like a month and a bit old and in perfect condition and i dont want a refurbished one.
