I’m not quite sure how it happened as I look after the Pearl with OCD behaviour!

The top right area of the corner of the Pearl, where it bends over has become chipped revealing a minor but noticeable missing chrome piece. Any chance I can purchase or somehow get the chrome replaced?

Hope that makes sense, I’m really gutted at the moment.

Perhaps a therapy session is in order since I am not aware of any way to get the chrome rails, unless you buy a dummy phone on eBay, etc. But that would entail disassembly of your phone, which I do not recommend.

Now the therapy part:

Firstly, yeah, we all get upset when our "something new" gets a scratch or whatever on the surface [recall your first car door ding]. The only thing I can tell you is that as time goes on the wound will heal [mental injury, not the phone]. You just have to give it time.

Secondly, put your phone in a case. This will cover the damage so at least you don't have to look at it. For now, try to resist looking at it. Just use the phone as a phone. Also, remember it could be worse. Some members have reported putting a big, ugly scratch on the display area. Those people will tell you to consider yourself lucky.

Third, sell the phone in about a year and get a newer model.

Fourth, on the phone you will be getting in about a year, be careful with it so to put off cosmetically damaging it.

Fifth, PayPal me $1000 for the therapy session.

Buy a case to avoid further damage!!!
