1. I have my BB Pearl 3 days ago. I isntalled the CD in my computer and I followed all the steps. I can't add/transfer music, files, videos to my Pearl from the computer. It says a message as "There is not sufficient space" or "the application is read only".

2. There is always a message on display that says "Data connection refused".

Can anybody help me with this?

1. Please be more specific. Did you open Desktop Manager, and then did you open Media Manager within DM?

2. Do you have a BlackBerry Data Plan purchased from AT&T? Without the BlackBerry Data Plan, you will continue to get that message, and no internet, no email, no data.

1. Yes, I opened Desktop Manager, and then went to Media Manager.

2. No, I haven't a data plan from AT&T. That could be the problem?. Also, The phone do not have two icons, the Internet Browser and MediaNet icon. I think they are supposed to be in the phone although I don't have a Data Plan.

1. If there are DRM files that you're trying to transfer (such as mp4s from iTunes), they wouldn't play on your handheld anyway. Are you trying to transfer DRM-locked music? Also, if there's insufficient space, there's insufficient space. Pull the battery to do a hard reset and that should free up a bit of memory.

2. To be clear, you need a BLACKBERRY DATA PLAN to access anything data related. E-mail, Internet, etc.
