What is the slot on the top right side of the Pearl for?

That little slot at the top is the speaker. Pretty pathetic if you ask me. The speaker is actually covered by the battery cover, and the sound goes up out of that slot. I thought the sidekick speaker was pretty bad, but looks like the Pearl one-uped them.

You can order a seido battery cover with speaker grills or you can do a search on here for drilling holes in the battery door for better sound. I did the mod and the sound is tons better.
