Hi,

I bought a few tv shows from itunes and the video is an mpeg4 format.

It won't play on my Pearl when I put it on the microSD card.

"An error has occurred attempting to play media."

I think this has something to do with Apple coding there stuff to only play on Apple products.

How do I get around this problem?

No can do. The videos purchased through iTunes are protected. Only way to view them off of a computer is via a new Apple TV.

Unless Apple specifically releases BlackBerry support, you're better off looking for a way to remove the DRM first. I know there's a program called JHymn for protected AAC files and Tunebite for protected video, but I haven't dealt with either one very much.
