BIS & Yahoo Biz Mail?
 
anyone using BIS with Yahoo Biz mail on their BB and having problems? I've been having problems since friday with the Yahoo Biz mail account only. My 4 Gmail accounts are working fine with BIS...

my email seems to be delayed a few hours when it used to be instantaneous.

i sent service books, didn't help
i pulled the battery, didn't help
i deleted the account from BIS and then re-added it, didn't help

any insight?

If you have filters set up, delete them and see what happens. I did that and my emails came thru (and so did all the junks). For some reason, there's an issue with the BIS and filters with me.

I don't have any filters. The only thing I can think of us that I used to also pop the same account to my desktop with outlook 2003 and just upgraded to outlook 2007. Could that have anything to do with it?

You have been upgrade to Outlook 2007. Did your email server upgrade to Excange 2007, too? BIS does not work and play with Exchange 2007. I have that problem. I can't have a BIS account for my work email right now.

i don't use exchange. i use a service thru Yahoo for Business. I now wonder if they changed anything on their end in anticipation for the iPhone. I heard they are supplying push email for the iPhone...

Right, I mis-stated it. Your email host probably uses Exchange and may have upgraded to 2007.

From Yahoo Business Email's FAQ:

What do I need to check my Business Email on my BlackBerry?

Check with BlackBerry for details, but from our side, you'll need only your Yahoo! Business Email address and password. Additionally, be sure you're using BlackBerry Internet Service 2.3.


how do i check to see if i'm 2.3? I have Cingular/AT&T
