Default Websites that display correctly on the Pearl

Please Login to Remove!

I have just being playing around with browsing the web using the Pearl and I think that I must be mssing something somewhere.

Navigating to BlackBerry works ok and the website is displayed but most other sites that I have tried do not show at all. I assume that this is becase they are not WAP enabled sites. Shoud I be using wap.sitename.com etc for most sites?

Anyone any sugestons forr some sites that I can show people that work ok on the Pearl - not really bothered about the actual content, I just want to show that sites can be dislayed on the phone ok.

Thanks

yea, some sites have a wap site, some don't. You can't just put "wap" in front of a domain and have it work.

Here is a good thread with lists of good mobile web sites, which will display well on your browser.

In browser options I just enabled all features and set it to netscape emulation. Pages load a bit slower but its pretty close to desktop surfing on a mobile device.

Huh? I use it exclusively as do half the members here. Not exactly a POS.
