charging port doesnt work....how do i save files?
 

my pearl is a replacement that tmobile sent me. i guess they make it look nice and new, but the internal chips are poorly glued together. My charging port is loose and doesnt charge anymore, therefore, no more charging/syncing. Since the phone still works, is there a way for me to back up my current info on my phone? my replacement should be here in a couple of days.

I believe that they stated that is what they want to use but the USB on the phone is not working. Once the get DeskTop manager running and a connection (Bluetooth sounds like the only option left). Worst case scenario they could at least copy all contacts to the SIM and at least transfer that data.

wouldnt i need to connect via usb for me to use the bb desktop manager? cause i cant connect caiuse my charging/syncing port dont work.

You can connect via USB or Bluetooth. I threw out the blue tooth option since USB was dead. If you can connect Desktop manager will make the back up and restore very easy!

sweet! i had a BT adapter for my laptop. just had to get the 2 to sync. got it done and files are now backed up. thanks yall 8-)
