Smile Trading Pearl Housings - 06-14-2007, 01:44 AM

I was bored at work a few days ago, and disassembled my Black/Gray Cingular Pearl.

It confirmed what I was hoping for, that the whole housing could be swapped. Has anyone done this? I'm really hoping to switch out the housing on the Red Pearl with a White one.

Has anyone had any experience with this?

Good luck finding such replacements. I'm sure it'll work if you can find the parts.

Wirelessly posted (Opera/8.01 (J2ME/MIDP; Opera Mini/3.0.6540/1690; en; U; ssr))

Or find someone who is sick of their white housing and wanna get a black one.

I wish they would sell spare housings. The chrome on my phone is pretty scratched up and I would love to be able to buy another. Plus being able to switch to red would be awesome.

A great information!
How could it be different, if the different Pearls are only colour versions of the same phone hihihi
