Hey all, I just got my pearl a few weeks ago, and that shutter sound is really terrible. I know this issue has been brought up before in the past, and I can assure everybody that needs to know that I do not intend to stick the camera up some girl's skirt or what not, but I just want to be able to have a silent shutter sound. My old phone had an option for shutter sound on/off, which was great (Sony Ericcson A310).

Is it possible to create some sort of file/application that can mute this thing? I mean, if someone can create a lil something to change the color of my trackball, quite frankly, other things can be done. I'm not a technical computer guy whatsoever otherwise I would have tried this myself. Just tossin an idea out there... if anyone has any other suggestions, please post. We gotta get rid of this sound.

Or even better, is there a way to change the shutter clicking noise to something that would just go ahead and say 'HEY YOU, BABE, I AM TAKING YOUR PICTURE!"

You can call your VM, and mute the volume and then switch to the camera...only way I know how.
